Information on the Education and Participation Package (BuT)

Our goal is to inform even more families in North Rhine-Westphalia about the Education and Participation Package (BuT). Displaying materials in public and high-traffic locations offers a great opportunity to reach families with targeted messaging. For this reason, we would be delighted if many municipalities, organizations, and institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia would participate in distributing and displaying the free postcards, fold-out cards, and posters, for example: 

• Municipal information centers and similar local service points
• Youth welfare offices
• Schools
• Childcare centers and family centers
• Family associations
• Counseling centers
• Integration centers
• Family education centers
• Pediatricians
• Hospitals
• Midwife practices and maternity clinics
• Early intervention services
• Sports and recreation clubs
• Recreational facilities
• Libraries
• Cultural and event venues for families
• Pharmacies

Targeted distribution reaches families in their everyday environments and helps facilitate their access to important information about daily family life through the Familienportal.NRW. The following examples illustrate some ways to distribute the materials:

• Displayed in highly visible locations in public spaces where parents regularly pass by
• Placed in waiting rooms at doctors’ offices and pediatric and adolescent clinics
• Displayed at counseling centers
• Distribution as part of welcome packages upon the birth of a child
• Display in parent cafés, parent meetups, parent-child gatherings, etc.
• Distribution by children’s and youth coaches in local clubs
• Display in daycare centers and schools or distribution at parent-teacher conferences
• Display in public libraries
• Distribution as part of family-friendly cultural programs and events

The postcards, folding cards, and posters—intended for distribution to families and display in public places—will be mailed free of charge.

We ship the materials in bundles. For postcards, you can order quantities of 50, 100, 150, or 200. For folding cards, you can order quantities of 25, 50, or 100. The poster is available in bundles of 2, 5, or 10.
