Maternity Leave at Work, in College, and in Vocational Training
To protect the health of the (expectant) mother and her child, employers must take special precautions during pregnancy and after childbirth. The goal of maternity protection is to provide special care for pregnant working women in the workplace and to protect mothers from discrimination in the workplace.
Maternity protection is governed by the Maternity Protection Act.
